Call for Abstracts / Papers

The Indiana Emergency Medical Services Association and the Indiana Emergency Nurses Association have opened the Call for Abstracts / Papers for the Crossroads Emergency Conference 2024. Please consider submitting an abstract to this growing conference. The submission deadline is July 10, 2024, at 12:00 pm Eastern Time.

Submissions should be relevant to the pre-hospital and emergency care arena and address interesting and innovative educational topics, research, evidence-based practice, or quality improvement efforts. Topics may include but are not limited to:

• Opioid crisis

• Disaster Planning and Management

• EMS/Nursing Education

• Leadership-Management

• Interesting clinical presentations and patient management (e.g. cardiac, trauma, etc.)

• Specific skills training

• Resilience

• Work environment

• Critical care transport

• Stroke care

• Community paramedicine

• Forensic nursing

• Human trafficking

Conference Schedule

Last year’s conference hosted over 45 speakers from 12 states. Attendees were able to choose from more than 60 individual educational sessions offering up to 14.25 nursing continuing professional development or EMS contact hours. Educational topics ranged from:

The conference will take place at the French Lick Springs Hotel at 8670 West State Road 56, French Lick, IN 47432.

The French Lick Springs Hotel has arranged special guest room pricing for this event. Room availability and special rates are limited.

Traditional 1 King Bed: $169.00 per night
